Start from Morzine, head over the Col du Cou down "the ridge" to Champery, take the cablecar back up the hill, ride over the Col d'Hiver and follow the GR5 to Linderet, descend to the Lac du Montriond and back to Morzine
Fantastic trails, great views, access to quality rental bikes and fantastic food. A must.
Thank |This is a an excellent alpine cross country trail in a part of the planet where downhill trails predominate. It's follows back roads, mountain trails and singletrack across the border between France and Switzerland. It's not a purpose built mountain bike trail.
There scenery is stunning - be sure to go on a fine clear day. There are a number of ski lifts you can use to reduce the uphill grunting. You will need a good map or a guide to find the way.
