#42 of 112 mountain bike trails in Alabama
Rails-to-Trails project. The trail extends from Piedmont south through Jacksonville to Weaver. The trail is mostly flat with just a few moderate grades. The path parallels Alabama highway 21 and goes through a mix of wooded areas and farm country. The trail is growing and the plan is to go north to Georgia and south towards Birmingham.

Start at any of several locations in the town of Piedmont. One of the most notable is at the Piedmont police station. The south end has parking at Jacksonville, AL.
Well it was a good workout....but once was enough....definitely time to get back in the woods.
Thank |This trail is beautiful. Yet quickly reminds me all the reasons that I am not a road biker. If you like asphalt, you'll love it.
Thank |Great ride. Anyone looking for a good relaxing ride should check it out. Also, a great place for a good workout if you don't want to have to deal with worrying about cars.
Thank |This is a road cyclist's haven. It spans from Marietta, Ga to Anniston Alabama. It is a 5 foot wide paved trail that is full of beautiful scenery.
Thank |This trail is a good one for beginers or people who just want to take it easy for the day. It is mostly flat and I think it is a great place to take the whole family.
