From Clarks Creek Park Parking
Follow the fire road grade up from the tennis courts past the small shack.
(If you parked in the south parking lot the shack will be right in front of
you). This doubletrack turns to singletrack with a steep grade up the hill. At
the top are a few loops to ride. There are a couple of mini bridges that drop
to flat up by the school.
From Fruitland Elementary
Park in the parking lot. Head behind the school. The forest on the backside
of the playfields has the trails. If you go between the portables and enter
the forest you'll find the southern loop right through the trees.
I'm one of the "locals" and this trail is awesome. Don't expect to have a peaceful ride on your beach cruiser, be prepared to work hard and get dirty, wet and or muddy depending on the time of year. This trail is no cakewalk, the average rider will not make it all the way through...
Thank |It seems that this trail hasn't received any proper maintenance in a long time. There's no markings to clearly explain what the trail is suppose to be, more of a just ride around until you figure it out kind of deal. There's definitely a few locals that know how to link everything together to make this a fun continuous and flowy ride but it will take me a couple more times on the trail to figure out that route. I thought this felt like a solid intermediate trail, not very beginner friendly at all. There were remnants of old obstacles that were probably at one time awesome and even an overgrown pump track style trail. Would love to see this place get a face lift.
Thank |Very muddy up top clay mud clogged up my drive train not worth it for me when it's so slimmy you have to walk up the hill lame
Thank |This place is horrible. Way too many obstacles (fallen trees, logs, steep inclines that you have to get off your bike and walk down/up). I don't understand how this place has gotten so many good reviews. If you live close to this place you're better off going to Swan Creek.
Thank |For as small as this trail is it's not bad. I wish i had a leaf blower cause I'd definitely clear out all the leafs on there. There is some steady climbs, some fun sharp turns, and some steep downhills. Watch out for roots! (slow and low, that is the tempo)
Thank |Pretty fun course, 2 big loops to ride, once your at the top of the hill, it's so fun just to cruise all the way down! There are some muddy areas, rooted areas and some rocky areas, and some VERY steep hills and some steep easy hills to ride down. I love it because I live a mile away and I can ride with my friends whenever I want. There's many trails leading off of other trails, I've been there a couple dozen times and still havnt been on all the trails. Have fun riding!
Thank |Pretty nice trail. I started from up off fruitland ave. Gets steep pretty quick but fun.
Thank |Sweet local spot to hit during the week. Skinny trails but not too technical. Wet in spots.
Thank |This trail is a lot of fun but watch out for joggers and hikers.
Thank |My local trail. I ride this trail all the time, and i have even added a few berms and one jump to it. I would like to see more progress for it, but its fun to ride down the ravine any way you want.
Thank |I ride here all the time and its a blast. Nice workout to the top. when you reach the peak its nothing but fun, and then smooth sailing all the way down.
Thank |Lots of medium inclines, narrow trails, and a few tree roots/limbs to avoid. Fun place to ride.
