There are two loops, one on either side of Cliff Cave Rd. When entering the park the loop on the right is about 2.5 miles long, the loop on the left is close to 1.5 miles. There is a connector that is less than a mile long and crosses a creek bed. The right side is double track and has various outlets to neighborhood streets and elementary school fields nearby. The trail is marked very well.
The trail on the left is more technical, rocky surface that detours into a scenic spot overlooking the mississippi river. This side also has a steep uphill climb that can be challenging.
