Mountain Biking Clikapudi Trail

****   Add a review
#460 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
#5,741 in the world

Trails at Shasta Lake are open all year, but it is best to hike them in the spring and fall. Tips/ Suggestions: If you choose to hike these trails in the summer, be sure and take plenty of water. Summer heat is quite severe in this area and there is no drinking water available. Pets: Pets are allowed in the recreation areas unless posted. They must be on a leash when in a developed site. source: fs.usda.gov

Rode it again 8/5/17. Still a blast but needs major brushing 5-6 miles in. Lots of poison oak and bear scat.

One if not my favorite ride. Great climbs and downhills with some challenging rock drainage obstacles. Nice lake views, ferns, and the lake is full.
