A vibrant mountain bike leaning against a tree in a forested area, with a red water cooler and a wooden bench in the background. Sunlight filters through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the dirt path. Climbworks El Regis mountain bike trail.

Climbworks in Gatlinburg is a great place to take your bike to ride. Awesome place to also learn some very basic yet essential skills. The staff are awesome and then individual on our visit (David) was great. Bikes and safety gear is provided at a cost if needed. The trail itself is 1/3 climb, 1/3 flow/pump, and 1/3 downhill. Beginners are guided with detail to their skill level of needed. Being the only trail it is great to utilize the small loop to hone those three sections. The trail never gets boring as you go faster and faster with every lap or keep the same pace. Rated at. 5/5 for accommodations, friendly staff, and honestly, a very fun trail. Going early could offer a more open trail that is very quite(if you prefer). Sessions are approx $25/person (with your own bike). Happy Riding!

The trail system is awesome, Nice punchy climb to the top and switch backs all the way down. Just wish it was longer. Yes, you have to pay $25 to ride the trail, but you receive good parking, bathrooms, awesome staff and a bike mechanic just incase something happens. Not a bad gig.
