Mountain Biking Colonial Hills (Chapman Mt.)

***   Add a review
#49 of 112 mountain bike trails in Alabama
#5,625 in the world

Trail is excellent for training. One steep climb after another with some really good downhill. Very rocky. Trail shared with ORV's so be careful. (They mostly ride weekends and you can hear them coming for the most part.)

Rode this trail several times prior to its close. Rode buy the other day and noticed the sign was down. I wonder if that means go again

Got the info off this site. Drove there. Suited and saddled up only to find a very large "trail closed due to drug activity, severe land destruction, trespassers will be prosecuted, road spikes laid down, etc, etc. Additional signs were posted further in.
