Mountain Biking Corry House Trails
#212 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
Currently about 9 miles of double/singletrack running through the woods.
Much faster than the nearby Hart farm trails. A couple of crushingly steep
uphill climbs and some descents that will make your eyes water. Lots of fun
and easily linked up with the Hart farm trails for ~25miles of riding.

The official address of the Corry House is 6641 Union Point Highway
Union Point, GA 30669. HOWEVER, do not park at the Corry House. It is a
functioning bed and breakfast and is often rented out for events. Park at
the parking lot for the nearby Hart Farm trails instead. They share the
parking lot. The address for parking is 53 Crawfordville Rd., Union Point,
GA. The entrance to the trails are located about 100 yards up a dirt
driveway that is located at the intersection of Crawfordville Rd and Carlton
Avenue. Well signed. Gate closed when it's dark. Ride out of the parking
lot and make a left on HWY 278, heading east. Ride about 2.5 miles until
you see the white sign at the Corry House driveway. This is where the
trails currently start. In the near future you will be able to avoid the road
ride out to the Corry House; trails were being finished at the time of this
writing.
Only found a .5 mile section through the planted pines. Signage disappeared and I lost the trail due to downed trees that looked like they had been down for years. Would have been a wasted trip had I not went to nearby Hart Farms.
Thank |I had a great ride here, started with an intro to the owner, Bo Cheeves, gave his blessing and off I went.
Thank |The first section through the pines is blazing reminded me of the fight scene with Scorpion and Johnny Cage. The course kicks you tail just long enough to be rewarded with nice, smooth downhill that is not very rutty.
The named hills are heart thumpers, Powerline Hill,Swamp Hill also Buckeye. Heartbreak Hill is a 3 tier climb that had my heart beating out of my chest! After that is some dirtroad then back to the woods for and awesome downhill with some jumps, had to hit those twice!
Great hospitality, well groomed, this course was a blast to ride, caught myself let out a few laughs and yells.
DEF DO OVER!!!
Fun trails located within a stones throw of 12 mores miles of singletrack at Hart Farms. Mostly doubletrack that is starting to quickly return back to singletrack. The majority of trails here are wide open, fast and a relatively easy aerobic challenge. However, the are three or four climbs worth noting that WILL get your heart rate up. A little soft in spots but I did ride it two days after a rain. With more riders to pack it down, this place will be blazingly quick. The pine forest at the start and the suspension bridge are way cool.
