Mountain Biking Creek Crossing To Bee Trail
#260 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
This trail starts on the north side of the main creek crossing on the Montgomery Creek loop with the wooden bridge on the old I-beam. The trail takes off into the woods near the creek (heading downstream). There are a couple of options, but they eventually merge together. The trail goes for a little over a mile and then joins up with the Bee Trail at small creek crossing. This trail is not very well ridden, but is located in a very cool location.

I recommend parking at the church: From Dahlonega, head from downtown on Highway 60 (North Grove St.) past Lifetime Bikes. Go a couple miles past both of the schools, and then turn left at Camp Wahsega Road and then follow it all the way until it runs into Camp Frank D. Merrill. Turn left, and then left immediately into the parking lot of the white church. Park and ride from there.
3 stars. Cool location, but the ride isn't all that great.
