The Christchurch Adventure Park is a world-class facility. The Park is the first lift accessed, four-season mountain biking operation on the planet. It will be the first with a chairlift specifically designed for mountain bikes and their riders. It's on a 500 acre site in Christchurch's Port Hills and was developed by Select Evolution of Whistler fame.
The 1.8km high-speed chairlift is capable of taking up to 1200 riders and their bikes up 435 vertical metres each hour. In addition to mountain biking there are zip lines through the forest, rock climbing and a cafe and bar seating up to 180 people.
In short, it's a Whistler style lift-assisted downhill mountain bike park featuring machine made flow trails with lots of jumps, sweeping berms and other fun stuff, as well as hand made trails through forest. Awesome park with new trails opening all the time. super fun black/double black trails inc. black pearl, yoda, shredzilla. Equally the blue & green trails have something for everyone, and even experienced riders can enjoy them. This place just keeps getting better.

Beautifully sculpted blue flow lines and some rooty off camber blacks, amazing hassle free facilities, quick lift lines with great rental options and food. If I lived in Christchurch I'd be here every week. Incredible considering the whole place burned down last year. Can't wait to see how this place develops.
