Mountain Biking Cypress Creek
#16 of 279 mountain bike trails in Texas
Singletrack, flat wide sections, technical sections, and some speed areas. good fun ride. Theres is a paved trail that is close and intercects with, that can be ridden also. Not sure of the miles (maybe 15) of the paved path.

From Houston, TX take 290 North exit Jones rd. (Outside Beltway 8) turn right on Jones Rd. Stay on Jone Rd. past 1960 and take a left at Grant rd., right on mLakewood Forest Dr. Park on the right at Moore Elementary School. Mount up and ride to the south of the school building and there is a fence, and bayou/ditch. Fallow the fence line and thats where they start.

During the weekend, there are always many riders. The trail is in decent length and offers a lot of verities. It took several trips for me to figure out trail paths. There are some confusion areas with multiple trail crossings.
Thank |The first address is wrong, go to Moore elementary and ride along the back fence. Take a left and a steep drop over the river and your on the track. Trail was good, a little overrun at times.
Thank |Breathtaking at times
Thank |Conditions were perfect for a quick 8mi this morning. We came across a copperhead at one of the trail heads so keep your eyes open. If you would have stopped to wait on a rider and put a for down you would have likely been bit. It that time of year they're on the move. Besides that the trails were in perfect condition. We don't mind the roots and sand just makes it more technical.
Thank |Whatever address this is is wrong. It leafs to a neighborhood.
Thank |Great places to explore on the trail, also some nice hills for experienced riders. Very hot right now so its real sandy
Thank |Good trail lots of options just gotta ride and explore . Lots of hills and obstacles for the experienced riders . Can catch the trails by the ymca off 249
Thank |1:00 pm / 95 F/ I have been here before. I think this trail is also called MNNKO 3. I want to thank those for work done on the trails and some new area that have been marked with ribbons. Some muddy spots today but can be ridden around. Good trails for a nice work out. The wife likes the tails in the area also. See you on the trails J.J.
