Mountain Biking Daisy State Park
#90 of 206 mountain bike trails in Arkansas
"Really a dirt bike/4-wheeler trail but challenging to the mountain biker. Be ready to do lots of climbimg and prepared to ride over many rocks. Pay attention to your direction as there are a few turn offs which lead to nowhere. Free to use.

Located at Daisy State Park
challenging, wide trail and rocky
Thank |The loop section of this trail loops only in the Daisy State Park area and is made up of both single track and ATV trail. This is a motorcycle trail and that probably explains the shape that it is in. I personally do not like this trail, to me it is to short, not well maintained, and I am not to much of an ATV trail person. Most of the trail is pretty flat with gentle climbs. There is one section on a hill that can be a bit tricky because of the steepness of the hill and that the ATV's have really messed it up, other then that its pretty boring. Thank |New 5 mile section was added last year. I rode the new section that includes only .5 to .75 mile of the old motorcycle trail. Be careful not to stay on the old motorcycle trail too long as its not very ridable in many sections and can be dangerous to inexperienced riders. The 5 miles of new trail however is modestly marked, but definitely could be raked so the trail is easier to follow. I will be back next year to ride this trail again, its combination of technical sections and fast down hill sections make it a decent intermediate trail.* Review edited 11/27/2009
