****   Add a review
#47 of 112 mountain bike trails in West Virginia
#4,783 in the world

Best way to enjoy Davis trail is to start at the Allegheny Trail / Davis Trail trailhead on Canaan Loop Rd. Ride it downhill all the way to Blackwater Falls State Park. To Make a loop you can take a right on Yellow Birch Trail just before you reach the road. Sooo many trails in this area, see others near Davis WV.

Getting there
Best access to the trail is off Canaan Loop Road and ride it back toward Blackwater Falls State Park. Davis trail is also part of the Allegheny Trail on this section. This trail is part of the Park to Park route from Canaan Valley State Park to Blackwater Falls SP. You can ride Davis trail from Blackwater Falls toward Canaan Loop Rd. however it is a pretty good climb with some technical stuff in it. It also crosses Plantation Trail and can be used to make different loops in the area.
