The trail designated for mtb, which is primarily for hiker and equestrian use, is so beset with rocks that it has no flow whatsoever. The views, however, are fantastic and definitely worth a look on foot or horse.

A little overgrown, but 100% beautiful nature. I had never been on these trails and was happy to be out exploring. I hiked a bike some. The water crossing was nice and the double track was short.

This is not a green trail , The skyline trail , experts would take a header on this trail. Extremely sharp rocks . This was a bad call for riders. Amazing place for extreme hiking .

dig20172401 (continued :0): Sheep Pen Canyon Loop is the correct name of the loop. I thought about rating this trail a .3 because of the rocky stretches, but they are manageable with suspension and/or fat, squishy tires

dig-20172401: Found this nice itermediate trail on the way to Big Bend. Davis Mountain State Park has a good campground -- glad I stopped. Get map and code to gate for access to primative area and trailhead. Initial climb may discourage some but Sheep Trail Loop portion is fairly flat. Climb to Vista Point is gradual and not too rocky. View is spectacular as are those along entire loop. About 11 miles round trip.

4 miles round trip not the longest for sure. The trail is not a well taking care of due to the lack of riders in the area. The trails itself is in good condition. Nice climb at start with water bars step down on the downside fun but you have to climb them to get back. This trail is real for beginners. Just needs some Tec
