Mountain Biking Dead Bird
#700 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
The Dead Bird Trail is a relatively smooth, swoopy singletrack descent along a little ridgeline that eventually drops out into the Lost Cause trail. The trail is relatively non-technical, until it joins Lost Cause. If you want to keep things easy, instead of joining Lost Cause you can follow the signs to the right and finish on the sand/dirt roadway.

Start from end of Little Rainbow Trail.
This is a great little descent down from the Little Rainbow trail, and while seemingly not as popular as Race Track, this shouldn't be overlooked. Smooth, flowy, and on some cool terrain... it's hard to go wrong out here in the Methodist Mountain trail system!
