Mountain Biking Deer Pond
#182 of 301 mountain bike trails in New York
This is a cross country ski trail that is a intermediate Mt. Bike Trail in the summer. There are two other trail heads, but this main one is the best to start from.
Also, once at Deer Pond, if you are doing the loop to the west, know it is muddy even in dry seasons

This trail is about 1.5 miles East of Tupper Lake on Route 30 on the left. If you come to the intersection to Fish Creek Camp Ground, you have gone two tens of a mile past the trail head.
My pictures only have the 'boardwalk' but that is only a small part of the trail, the terrain is varied.
a little difficult, in the summer there is often blow down and some roots on the trail, but fun trail and great lake wen you get to it.
The out loop (to the west) is often pretty muddy
