Mountain Biking Defeated Creek
#180 of 202 mountain bike trails in Tennessee
There are two signs at the entrance, one says "Bear Waller Hiking Trail 10 K" and one says something about the mountain bike trail, take that one. There are two main routes that can be taken, The left takes you up a good climb to a 3-way split, the left trail takes you all the way up the mountain. Once you're to the top (which is a tough climb) it's mainly downhill with some hard-to-see switchbacks. Eventually, you'll end up right where you started.

Simply go like you're going to the marina then follow the roads to the boat ramp. Then park and you'll see signs for the hiking trail and the mountain bike trail.
The trail quality was good but the trail itself was very poorly marked, it was very easy to get lost and lose track of which trail was which.
