This is not so much a trail as a big national park. There are fire roads and single track that wind all through the Park. Tons of Climbing and fun down hill. Rock Gardens, Drops, Everything you can want. HOWEVER.... There are NO trail Maps. There is only insinct or go with someone who knows the park. It is very difficult to navigate until you are familiar with the park.
Recomend a full suspention bike. All Mountain would probably do best.
The park gets a lot of use so some of the area is really torn up. But if you get he cahnce to go with someone who knows the trails, Climb to San Miguel Peak on the fire road then take the single track all the way down next to the Convent Fence. Rough riding but Very Fun!
My first trip to the park and needless to say I got lost. Some great trails and some technical rock gardens but it definitely helps to know the park. Best to go with someone who knows their way around
Thank |Lived in Metepec, MX only about 25 minutes from here for 3 yrs. Rode this place alot. Great sinlge track sections. Some great flowing downhill sections which are quite steep and fast. Many very challenging uphill and downhill sections can be found, rock drops, long sections of boulders, etc.. Overall a very very good spot to ride. .
