Starting Point doesn't look like anything but this is it, a hilly dirt parking area. Just park there go up a bit and you will see the trail map posted there.
It is relatively a short trail, I would rate it as black if you straight go up to top of the mountain. There are some rocky areas where you have to walk on them, if you are not that good. Some blue trails here and there.
I finished it in 2 hours taking multiple breaks and mapmyride said 6.1 miles.

Titus addition
This trail continues to improve. I started riding on it about approximately 20 years ago. Back then there was a section that was private property that is no longer part of the system.
Since there there has been some major revitalization There is a new building.
The biggest change is the trails have been redeisigned for some mountain bike specific trails by Barkeater Trail Alliance (BETA) and what a change.
It went from some nice wide x-c ski style trails (which still exist) to some fun single track.

It's a great trail... with everything from beginning to some expert trails.
the one concern is the trail is pretty wet and closed until the end of summer...
but to be sure you can check:

I give this a high rating for two reasons
1) there is a great variation of trails, from single track to wide trails cut for x-c skiing
2) (worth half a point at least in my books) it is only a mile from my house
Thank |Nice trail system. Lots of single track. Lots of trails. Typical Adirondack with some trails very rocky/rooty and lots of uphill and downhill. Technically not the hardest, but a good aerobic base is very helpful if you go all the way to the top. Area is mainly a XC ski area, but BETA does a great job maintaining the MTB trails
