Mountain Biking Dirksen Park
#11 of 128 mountain bike trails in Illinois
This is the place to go if you are looking for a more intense mountain-biking experience. With everything from grinding climbs, tight singletrack, and screaming descents, to ladders, ramps, teeter-toters, drops and whatever other amazing obstacles they have thought up lately. There's nothing else like it in the midwest. This trail will make you appreciate a good helmet and might make you question buying some more safety gear.

Loved this place! Was a great ride for me and the wife lots of log rides for me and easy by pass for her. New riders. The downhills are fast and some are sketchy which gets that adrenaline going for your killer climb back up.
Thank |Great single tracks with many good climbs.
Thank |Great trails for Illinois and no traffic on the trails. I ride there at least once a month. Worth a drive to check out
Thank |Love these trails!!!
Thank |I visited this trail in Nov. 2011 and just got a big overhaul. Lots of trees that were blocking the trails have been removed and everything was in great shape.
Thank |Great trail to get lost in. winding singletrack, some good downhill, some grueling climbs, and even a little north shore stuff. it can get a bit overgrown but all that does is keep riders there to a minimal, i have been there a couple of times and never seen a soul. great find for central il. thanks go little ade's bike shop for the well maintained trails
