Mountain Biking Dog River Trail
#126 of 306 mountain bike trails in Oregon
Beautiful forest ride with glimpses of Mount Hood. Unless you have a shuttle the rewards are hard earned. Plenty of climbing or descent depending on your direction. Just a few technical areas plus a few swithchbacks; otherwise a straightforward ride. Shared TH with Surveyors Ridge Trail.

From either Government Camp or Hood River take Highway 35. Travel 16 miles from GC or 26 miles from HR before turning onto National Forest Road 44. Travel just over 3 miles to find a shared TH with Surveyor's Ridge trail (there is a sign).
