I have ridden this trail for at least 10 year and it is not an intermediate level trail, it is a beginner trail. Currently it is in the best shape it has been for years!

Hit this trail today for the first time! I expected it to be slick since it rained yesterday. (today was just too beautiful not to hit the trails) On top of the slick conditions (which i subjected myself to) the trail was wildly overgrown! Im not one to complain about the occasional slap in the face from a branch, but the amount of overgrown plant life madethis trail not very enjoyable! Other than that the trail is fun! Very short but perfect for someone starting out. Not many technical spots to worry about and maybe one or two tight turns!

I'm giving this a 3-Star rating because the following:
    1. The trail is a nice ride, however it's really short.
    2. The signage is extremely limited.
    3. The City of New Braunfels Parks & Rec Division really needs to get out and do some beautification and clearing work - the weeds are pretty insane and they're going high and into the trail - nothing like getting smacked in the face by Poison Ivy and or Oak.
    4. Overall, this trail is a fun little ride if you don't have much time. You can easily get a workout if you ride fast and you do at least 4-5 laps around the trail system.

Rode these trails for the first time yesterday and was immediately very impressed. The map is very helpful and well done, although the map at each trail head shows you being at the same location, might cause confusion for some. Very well maintained trail without much traffic or gnarly obstacles, the only down side being the complete lack of any kind of trail markings. I often found myself doubling back on trails I had ridden before and left feeling like I may not have ridden everything as I hoped I would. Better trail markings and I would be giving a 5 star rating. A few dry creek bed crossings add some rock gardens in the mix, not too technical though as I was able to carry enough speed into them to just ride on through.

A nice mellow hill with a few roots to start out with leading into a brand new shaded section with a few places to get light air from bump jumps and bunny hops then if you follow the corect portion you will find a fun decent faling in the dry comal in other word a small rock garden leading into a fun climb and short descent to tiny Rock garden the rest you will have to find out just watch for trail builder very nice but I almost crashed into one.
