From Burlington take 403 through Hamilton and up the Escarpment. Exit hwy 52 and go North (right). Turn right on Governors Rd. and follow it to the signed entrance about 8km in on your right.
Never again hike trails with beach sand terrible
Thank |Over all area fairly large, I spent most of the time scanning for expected side single tracks off of the main gravel and dirt wide walking paths , there were a few but not what I was expecting like in Hilton falls. I will return and do the eastern sections and do a bit more research for the locals hidden single tracks. Over all lots of climbing and great area, winding horse trails were great but littered by horses and riders.. Sunday's are too busy in there with walkers strolling 4 wide.

I believe I spoke too soon in my last review. I am finding loads of new single track trails every ride. This is a huge area, and you would be wise to ride with someone familiar with the area.
Thank |Rated 4 because of how it used to be and the insane potential it has. I used to ride here frequently in University and there seemed to be quite a bit more singletrack then there is now. Loads of walking paths with sometimes annoying placement of gravel screenings, but there are great spots in this huge area with great terrain variety. As others have mentioned, you should have a bell for weekends as it can get busy on the main trails. Some of the single tracks I have recently discovered are quite challenging with rocky spots and tree crossings, and I know there are plenty more here yet to be discovered. If Christie Lake can have professionally designed single track trails, Dundas Valley can't be that far off.
Thank |I've heard you have to go with someone who knows the trails to find the good single track. For now I give a 3. Lots of hikers on a wk end, trail runners etc. Would like to try again with someone who is familiar.
Thank |I ride here every day. Plenty of challenging hills and singletrack, terrible loose gravel on double track. Favourite climbs are Firepit, Headwaters Cw and Cardiac... Watch for dogs off leashes and horses. Many walkers on weekends on main loop.. Bell required.
Thank |I stuck to the marked doubletrack trails, although I did see a couple of singletrack trails on way round. A beautiful place for a beginner/intermediate ride in fall, or just a non technical leg stretch, even on the marked doubletrack there are a couple of short, sharp climbs that will make you work.
Thank |There are a lot of trails here, most of the mapped ones are double wide gravel. The singletracks are hard to find in the fall with leaf coverage. Some of the climbs are a real challenge!

Thank |I accessed it from Martin Road, in Ancaster, and I found them pretty fun to ride. There are tonnes of access points from that road. Being a beginner, I found some parts challenging but hey thats the thrill of MTBing. Happy ridin!!!
