Mountain Biking Dwight's
#483 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
Great downhill ride! a few rocky areas that u may need to slow a bit for, a few small stream crossings, best part is going through the trees! they are very close together at some parts, you must do this ride if you goto Breckenridge. If you are up to it, bike up Pioneer Trail, then down Dwight's for a 7.8 mile loop.

From Denver: West on I-70, Exit at Frisco and to south on highway 9, there should be signs for Brekenridge, stay on 9 to Breckenridge. then turn right(west) in Lincoln Ave, this will take you to a parking lot where the ski lift are. From parking lot, go up the stairs, then go directly left, you'll see the trail going up the hill(where Pioneer Trail starts) Dwight's is on the right, but I don't think u want to climb it! Or just buy a lift ticket up to the trailhead on top of the mountain. There are Trail maps available at the ticket window
Fun and fast XC trail that is easily lift-serviced for fun fast singletrack all day!!!! Tight twisty turns through the trees and tons of switchbacks across the ski runs of peak 8. I also agree that Game Trail was the best that I rode in Breckenridge too (on the ski resort that is!)
Thank |Dwights trail is the better of the trails on Peak 8 in Breck. Don't waste your time climbing to ride it buy the ticket or try to smooth talk the lifty. This trail is at best beginner in terms of DH. If you're looking for good DH go to Keystone or better yet Winter Park.
Thank |If you want to bike on the ski area, just buy the all day pass and hit everything. Some recommend climbing up pioneer and going down several options. All the trails are worth time spent DH, and before you know it you've only spent 5 bucks a ride. Trails are rated from beginner to expert. If you've ridden Keystone, The breck DH should all be considered beginner trails, compared to Keystone. As a int. rider I had all that I could handle at Breck. My favorite trail here is Game Trail
