This trail is a advanced trail, with lots of good for you climbs, and fun single track down hill on the lower portion of Sierra Canyon trail. Trail conditions are normally smooth flowing, with some real nice tight switch backs. Great views of Carson Valley. For those optioning not to ride back on the road and hitch a vehicle ride back, the actual trail distance is
about 4 miles long between Eagle Ridge Trailhead and the Sierra Canyon access point. Creating
a loop adds an additional 2.2 miles by following the graveled Centennial Drive down to Jacks
Valley Road, then north on Jacks Valley Road and back up Eagle Ridge Road to the Eagle Ridge
Trail head. This loop has the least amount of snow during winter months.
