Mountain Biking Edgewood 5K

*   Add a review
#233 of 283 mountain bike trails in New Mexico
#25,642 in the world

The main loop is, as the title would suggest, just 5K (3.1 miles) in length. There are lots of intersections with random trails and doubletracks/jeep roads that go to nearby housing or just peter out nowhere. Most of the main loop is marked, but there are a couple iffy spots without signage. It really doesn't matter much which way you take the loop.

    This is mostly uninteresting doubletrack. The route is short and there's not a lot of elevation gain, so it seems good as a beginner trail. But it is punctuated with some very ledgy sections, so it's not suitable for beginners in spots. In the end, it's really not all that satisfying for any level of rider.
