Electric Hills is the first purpose-built mountain bike trail system in Montrose County. With 17 miles of fabulous hand-built singletrack, the trails cater from riders from intermediate to advanced. This thematic trail system is filled with gorgeous rock features, narrow singletrack, and plenty of rock rolls and drops.

Advanced loop: Start on Flux Capacitor (to the right of the trail map sign). After a few miles, cross a bridge then take a right onto Shock Therapy. After a short steep climb and downhill, turn right onto Amp Ridge. The climb to the top of Amp Ridge will be rewarded with a fun downhill with a few small drops. At the end take a left onto Flux, then a quick left back to Shock Therapy. Turn left when you get to Power Up and climb up to Rolling Blackout. Power up ends at a double track and you have to follow this North for about 1/10 mile to find Rolling Blackout on the right. Rolling Blackout traverses a narrow ridge and ends with a technical downhill to the parking lot. If you want to add a few extra miles, take Electric Hills from the parking lot to Ohm-ward for a nice flowing downhill back to the start.
