Mountain Biking Elinor Klapp-phipps Park Trails
#100 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida
Fairly easy double track road. Lots of interconnections. Well marked with numbers. You can get a map at the trail head. The bottom of the trail puts you at Lake Jackson. Beautiful scenery since it's practically dry and grown up now. There are trails in the lake bottom that you can follow too. All trail is shared with hikers and horse riders. This is an easy ride for beginners. No real bumps or roots. This trail is right next to Red Bug trail which is a more difficult ride. But even though the two are connected, the are independent trail systems with completely different characteristics.

From Tallahasee, travel North on Thomasville Rd. Turn left onto Maclay Rd. Turn Right on Meridian. Turn left on Miller Landing Rd. The trail head is located inside the soccer field area on the left.
Smooth wide trail. would be nice for a quick daily ride to get some high speed cardio in
Thank |Haven't been on all the trails, there are a lot of them, and it's easy to missing a number if you are going fast or not paying attention. Expect to stop and see where you are and look at the map if you want to go on a particular route. Some of the trails are actual dirt/sand roads, while other are just grass and open field. Interesting enough, but nothing technical, great for the family if you are looking for an easier off road trip.
Thank |Awsome ride. Not to much tech. Great scenery. Not a hard challenge itself but if you add the other interconnected trail such as Red Bug it becomes a great work out.
Thank |awesome tight turns
Thank |not too many jumps
