Mountain Biking Espola/West Ridge/Lomas Verde/Old Coach/Justin's
#984 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
Mostly singletrack route with some challenging sections due to erosion, etc. Plenty of easy sections as well. Steeper hills have gravel berms perpendicular to the trails, so getting air isn't hard, but watch the traction as you pick up speed. Good for building fitness (plenty of climbing and descending) and enjoying the local scenery, but expert technical riders will likely be bored silly.
Very hot and dry in the summer (over 100° is common), so bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
