Mountain Biking Fairview Park
#262 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
The park has an "upper part" on the bluffs and "lower part" down by the Santa Ana river. Although there are some tracks down the bluffs, please do not ride or walk down these, to prevent erosion - use the main connector. The park has a mixture of single track, path & fire road sized trails. Fairview Park is also part of/connects to the Santa Ana River Trail which runs from Newport Beach and Huntington Beach on the coast of Orange County to Riverside County and San Bernardino County.

Only 1.5 miles from home this is a great place to stay fit and have fun. I've got a 10 mile dirt loop that includes Canyon Park, just South of the Talbert wetlands. In the flats you've got Sheep Hills BMX pump track and a mile or so of single track climbs and descents. To add some miles you can ride down to the beach for the 'scenery' and wind sprints.
Thank |Great hidden gem. You wouldn't think of a park to ride a mountain bike in such an urban area. I accidentally discovered this park and it was a great experience. Wide open roads and a few single tracks. I will def. go back and ride here again, especially since I can ride here from my home.
Thank |This park won't win any awards or be a big "go-to" destination for mountain biking, but for the locals who want an quick workout without having to travel to other local trails, Fairview can provide an hours fun ride round its trails.
