There are two trails to the falls. Follow the main trailhead down about 1/8 mile and you will hit a Y. The sign indicates two routes, the 3.5 and 4.5 mile route. Stay to the left and take th 3.5 mile route downhill. This is a nice, moderately technical, fast, and shaded route with a few switchbacks that make for a great variety. At the end of the 3.5 mile route you come to another Y with signs showing a .5 mile route to the Falls. Follow this up to the falls for a great view. Be wary that this is narrow rocky section with a handrail for most of the half mile. I had to dismount since the railing caused more problems than it helped. On the way back from the falls, take a left and follow the 4.5 mile trail back out. This trail is less of**rade and mostly doubletrack. It makes the ride out easier considering it is a popular area after 9:00AM. Be sure to hit this trail early so as to miss the backpackers. I stopped to enjoy the falls, just as I got back on the bike I ran into a caravan of backpackers 20 deep.
