Getting there
From the intersection of Lake Esplanade, Beach Street, and Brunswick Street, go up Brunswick Street. When it intersects with Thompson street, go straight across ,slightly to the right, and go up Glasgow Street. The road will bend to the left and turn to Lomond Crest. The Fernhill Loop with start on your right.

    The trail was undergoing a revamp at the time I was there so will probably be different and better when you ride it. You should definitely go up the gondola rather than try to ride up from downtown. It's a trail with a lot of potential. Great views up top.
