Mountain Biking Fire Sale
#162 of 710 mountain bike trails in Utah
Fire sale is a much more technical alternative to a portion of Retail Sale. To reach the Fire Sale follow Got
Milk/Retail Sale to the end of the small piece of slick rock. Fire Sale branches off to the left (at the existing
piece of bike sculpture). This short trail will test your skills, give it a shot when you are ready. Fire Sale will
finally rejoin Retail Sale, from which you can finish Retail Sale or take the Bail Out back to the trailhead

Travel west from Vernal on US 40 over Asphalt Ridge. Make a left hand turn onto McCoy Flat Road (the
rough paved road that intersects the south side of the highway just west of an overhead powerline). Follow
McCoy flat road to the existing corrals. This is the trailhead for the McCoy Flats trails.
Best trail for technical(fun) riding in McCoy flats.
Thank |This is one of two more techncial options off of the main Retail Sale route. Taking this route will cut off only a small part of Retail Sale and replace it with 2.5 miles of up and down with plenty of narrow, techy moves. This is a must reroute for more advanced riders who come to McCoy Flats.
Thank |While the other trails in the system flirt with the cap rock, Fire Sale makes it to third base. Lots of tight , steep, twisty Single-track. The natural bridge is sweet.
Thank |A great narrow trail with some tech spots.
Thank |Great piece of technical, narrow single track
