The Flagline Trail runs for 9 miles one-way from the Swampy Lakes Sno-Park to Todd Lake. Along the way, the trail runs along/past the base of 7,775-foot Tumalo Mountain.
Be aware: this area is closed until August 15th in the summer to protect elk calving grounds.
Intermediate difficulty.

On the far western edge of the Bend area trails on the north side of Tumalo Mountain; this trail consist of 4 miles of fairly tough semi-technical climbs and then 4 miles of rooty, rocky descent. Often the trail is between tightly tree lined. More of a MTB experience than the majority XC trails in central Oregon.
