Starting from I-55/I-20 intersection, travel south on I-55 until you reach the Byram exit. Take this exit, follow the ramp to the right and follow this road (Siwell Road) for 1/1.5 miles until you reach Henderson Rd., which will be on your right. When you reach the end of Henderson Rd., Forest Hill Park will be visible on your left (baseball fields). Take a left and go down to the entrance to the park, and follow the road around behind the fields. The trail head is may be hard to see, but it is a small hill leading up into the trees.
5/06/11 This trail is a complete disaster. It has been completely overgrown, and there are downed trees everywhere. I ended up having to hike a quarter mile with my bike on my back, wading through hundreds of fallen trees knee deep. I eventually ended up in somebody's back yard, rode out of the neighborhood and back to my truck on the main roads. It was a good workout but you can't ride a bike on this trail. Also, bring a machete if you decide to go anyway.
