Mountain Biking Fort Saskatchewan Hidden Gold
#10 of 219 mountain bike trails in Alberta
This trail follows the North Saskatchewan river bank, and you'll never know that your in a city. Lots of twisty turns, cut backs, log piles, ladder bridges, that will bring a smile to your face and keep you coming back over and over again. Guaranteed to disorientate you the first time but this trail is almost all treed single track with lots of varing terrain from flat to steep climbs that will challenge all levels and if you end up in the river you won't be the first. Go for a "no dabber" but please wear bells as there are lots of blind corners, two way traffic, hikers and dog walkers at times.

Park at the tennis courts down by the river in the old part of town, start South on the paved trail along side the river for ~ 100 meters, just past the garbage you can look for a hole in the caragana bushes on your right. ~ 19 km out and back, local secret, best kept trail in the Edmonton area, well maintained.
Awesome trail with some nice jumps
Thank |A great trail for intermediate to slightly more advanced riders. Lots of technical/rooty sections, bridges/skinnies and drop offs depending on what trail you take. A very fun place to ride.
Thank |Trail is in excellent condition with a new bridge built upstream of the boat launch.
Thank |trails in excellent conditions. My hat is off to those who help maintain and improve those trails. A great deal of hard work has gone into them.
Thank |Great trail. Super fun. Challaging at times. Some washed out areas but we'll managed trail.
Thank |I haven't biked in a number of years. So this trail was a little difficult for me. There are are some north shore technical stud Alton the trail which was pretty fun. Trail was well laid out and I didnt get lost once. I really liked and well go again.
Thank |Awesome, although some parts are quite eroded. Come with good tires, or you'll fall in.
Thank |Full trail is open, all features rideable, new features added.
Thank |Great trail. Well maintained.
Thank |Good single track, many blind up hills that catch you unaware, some ladders and skinny but not to difficult, almost in rideable when its wet. Over all a very fun trail.
Thank |Excellent trail. A little greasy after rainfall. If you happen to be in the area, check it out. Remember to ride South from parking lot for 100m, then pick the singletrack in the bush.
Thank |Best kept secret in the Edmonton area, best maintained trail around with new stuff being added.
