These trails can be accessed from numerous points in Chaffee County. Maps are available in Buena Vista.
Some steep climbs and descents, and good connectivity to other trails in the area. Very sandy overall--while some sections are passable on a regular mountain bike, a fat bike is recommended.
Thank |The fourmile travel management area offers so many options. It is a great place for fatbikes because many of the trails go through sandy washes. The fatbikes just float through these. The scenery is spectacular in every direction. The trails are challenging with lots of climbing and fun descents. So far, the motorized traffic has not been a problem... the few encounters have always been friendly. Lots of ATV and motorcycle singletrack.
