Mountain Biking Franny Reese State Park
#121 of 302 mountain bike trails in New York
One of the area's newest parks that allow mountain biking, Franny Reese Park is owned by Scenic Hudson and offers stellar views riding on the bank of the Hudson River.
While there are only a few miles of trails, the park is centrally located near Poughkeepsie and the Mid-Hudson Bridge, making it an ideal destination for a quick pre- or post-work ride.
Riders seeking even more views can ride back towards the parking lot and add on paved miles via the Hudson Valley Rail Trail and Walkway Over the Hudson. Mere miles away to the west lies Illinois Mountain, another Scenic Hudson property filled with even more trails (and more technical) singletrack.
