Mountain Biking Fresh Pond Loop

*   Add a review
#169 of 223 mountain bike trails in Massachusetts
#16,226 in the world

This is a paved walkway with more people and dogs than you can count. I'm posting this as a note to other riders that this barely qualifies as "biking." :) Very pretty, though, and wonderful for people either learning how to ride a bike or for those in the later years just looking to stretch their legs. Paved roads, some dirt and sand, and the occasional off-shoot into the woods for an an eight of a mile.

Getting there
Don't bother... but... Take Rt 16 into Fresh Pond in Cambridge and hang a left right into it... but again... don't bother.

    This one is a nice leisure ride on a paved wide path around the pretty pond... =P

    I use this as a cut through when I'm on my city bike and don't feel like getting hit in the rotaries.

    If a trail can be deleted, this should be first on the list

    Don't really agree with this trail even being listed on here as it is a paved bike path... only reason to ride would be because it's your first time on a bike. Otherwise, leave it to the families and joggers (too busy to ride)

    Unless this is your first time on a bike (literally), don't go.
