#154 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida
#4,901 in the world

This is not an MTB trail but it is worth listing because it has over 16 miles of paved car free riding. You will pass through a beautiful forest where you will see wildlife and awesome scenery. This trail is mostly flat but there are a couple of areas where you will encounter a gradual elevation change. A local Gainesville favorite that will give you miles of great biking.

Not a mountain bike trail, but the quintessential rail trail ride in the Gainesville area. 16 miles one way. Mostly flat, but there are some good hills on the section riding out of Gainesville.

This is not a mountain biking trail. This is a path that you can ride on any bicycle. You will be riding through swamplands and not a forest like somebody previously stated. It's typical mid Florida scenery and landscape. Nothing technical and only one spot of elevation. You can find a fork in the road that will lead you to the lake or you can take the left-hand side which will lead you 15 miles down the road. This is a great path for amateur cyclists or someone looking for an OK road ride...

A pave rails to trails path. Great for family or casual ride with friends. Flat and several THs on the route. Typical central Florida scenery.

Trail starts out with elevation changes and turns change in scenery and scenic overlooks in the first couple of miles. Then it goes flat and straight wow I'm starting to fall asleep just writing about it. Keep the ride short enjoy the first couple miles and turn around before you get hit with dissapointment

This is a paved trail that is great to get some miles in and enjoy the beautiful scenery that Florida offers. You will not encounter any dirt trails here but it's worth a visit because it runs through a beautiful forest and you won’t be disappointed. Some slight elevation change but nothing to get worked up about because the trail is mostly flat.
