This is a pretty easy ride and a great one for a leisurely ride in Colorado. Little elevation change, a great ride to get acclimated to the elevation in the Springs. Hard pack with soem tight, twisty sections. Great for beginners.

This is a really pleasant trial for beginners, or anyone that hasn't been to the garden of gods. This place is a very touristy place, so depending on when you ride it, there could be a lot of hikers or people horsebacking. The ute trial is a fairly easy trial that has many other trials to connect to.

We went on a Sunday in late July, so the cars and the people were maddening BUT most stay in the cars and the rest stick to the hikers-only trails, so the bike trails were amazingly empty. We had a great family ride. Once around the Ute trail and then again around the outer trail, Chambers, I think, had plenty of little challenges in addition to short but gorgeous flow sections.

What a great trail, can't believe I've lived less than 5min from it for years and never rode it. Yes, it is definetly a beginner trail, but a great one. My wife finally got her first bike a week ago and this trail was perfect!

It's OK. Has very few trails that bikes are allowed on. Very touristy as well.

A great place to take a leisure ride or to go for the views. I did not find this trail very technical. It was also highly populated, I would suggest this trail for someone who was looking for the novelty of mountain biking near the Garden Of Gods on vacation over someone who is interested in mountain biking. There are much better trails out there!

Great views. Certainly worth the visit. Fun. Good to get fit. Not as tough as Ute Valley Park.

Not bad for what it is; a nice quick lunch/after work workout. If you do the outer loops as a figure 8 over and over again, it can be technical /strenuous. I know a lot of guys have big mouths on them here, but I know not all of them can clean the entire area at speed. Just saying...

Probably the best place in the world to take a newbie. Nothing threatening here--just some easy singletrack in a rare combination of civilization with crazy views. Get up on the Niobara trail for some minor technical challenge (switchbacks and rocks).

Most of these trails are easy. Just a good simple ride with great views. Not alot of trails open to mountain biking. Fun to ride at night if you have a headlight.

Just got back from riding this trail. Probably not technical enough for the likes of some, however, I had a great time riding it. Twisty, fast trails, some decent, short climbs, and even better if you work the Mariopara trail into it as well. All in all, it was a good morning ride.* Review edited 6/21/2007 I rate it a 6...* Review edited 6/21/2007

Heavy rain yesterday left a lot of the trails here soft and muddy, but still a great time. Despite its reputation as an "easy" ride, there are definitely some tight spots and obstacles to be found. Can't beat the scenery.

I am a beginner with determination. This trail was challenging for me because of the downhill with stairs, the steep sides and the unfortunate washout areas because of the rain we have gotten lately. We were on the trails 98% of the time, only took the road to get back to the visitor's center. The scenery is amazing...seems silly to say because it is just so awesome. I am so lucky to live here.

To be honest, the only reason I ride here is because it's a short ride to get there from work and I can easily do it for lunch or at the end of the day. The trail network is very limited; the park has segregated a tiny portion of the SE corner of the park for mountain biking. I prefer Ute Valley Park over GoG.
