Follow your nose, generally straight across at track intersections. Almost the whole track (95%) is singletrack, sweet fast and flowing. Some climbs that can catch you unawares lead to some nice fast downhills through the trees (watch the bar ends!). Ride the track anti-clockwise, when you hit the main walking track (about half way through) turn right up the hill and that puts you on the inner loop. The tracks not technically difficult but its loads of fun, very very flowy, through the trees. This track is great for XC riders and suitable for all skill levels.
Cross the sealed road and ride the more technical quarry side, loads of routes down the face, free ride play time.

Update (3/16/10): We've developed another 10 kms of trail on the eastern side of the sealed road (the Quarry side) which includes some short sharp bermed downhills. More singletrack to come nearby, and theres some great dirt road touring to be had here as well.
A lot has changed since the previous reviews were left. The quarry in particular (on the eastern side of arthurville road) is pretty much all new. A mixture of tech and flow with a number of black diamond features and a double black advanced line at the back of the old quarry pit itself. The quarry is the most technical riding in the area with natural drops, gaps, jumps, linked berms and rock gardens to keep you entertained.

| ThankGreat track, grew up in Geurie so its my home track, beautiful downhill on the outer loop, running down the gully before hooning through the trees. I will say though some seconds do require skill, like the narrow space you get between the trees, and the 1 bridge in the inner loop which is about 2 foot wide. keep your peddles level, i've seen mates come off to peddles hitting stumps next to the track. was funny :D
To those who want more jumps, I'll be brave and say I helped build them (cause I did) down the bottom near the quarry. If you want more jumps, email me a map and high light where you think would be a good spot, and I'll see what can be done.
| ThankAs claimed, the forest has nice flowing tracks with a few 'features' and just recently sign-posted. A cross betw lidsdale and yellomundee? A great resource, congrats to developers. wishlist might include a few more jumps and berms?
