Beatiful network built with skill and many of the trails are MTB designed. Just south of the Superstitions this place gets more rain as the clouds build on the mountains. Saguaro forest, classic Sonoran desert. K-Trail crosses arroyos at right angles to the flow making for a swoopy ride with many crossings of varying depths. Now Phoenix trails are being invaded by Algerian Mustard and will destroy the ecology of the area in just a few years. Yank this nasty invader out wherever you encounter it as a plant can put out 15,000 seeds!
