Mountain Biking Gilbert Run Park

Really short 2.5 mile loop but good after work. It is a mix of fireroad width and a little single track with some root and erosion hazards. The thing you wil run into most is the walkers and their dogs.

From Hwy 301 take Rt 6 east for 8 or so miles and the park entrance is on the left when headed east. There is a recycling center at the front entrance. There are several points to start on the trail.
Very rooted and technical in the begining if you go clockwise. I would not recommend riding counterclockwise it would be impossible to ride up the inclines with all the exposed roots, the second half after the footbridge is faster and wider few exposed roots I usually cook it through this area. Just watch for hikers there are two blind corners I believe
Thank |Short and sweet but well maintained.
