Mountain Biking Gimme Shelter
#136 of 301 mountain bike trails in New York
From the parking lot take the blue trail across the foot bridge. When you come to the old logging path, 20 feet, make a right turn. Follow this for about 20 yards and the entrance is on the right. The trail has great flow and incorporates the impressive "X" bowl with very cool G-outs. Corners are berm-ed nicely and the rock jump by the stream is awesome! This trail hooks up with ORC about 1/2 way down the trail.

From the intersection of route 22 and 203 in Austerlitz, NY head north on rt. 22, veer left on county route 5. Take route 5 for 1.25 miles till you see the pond on the left. At end of pond turn left into the parking lot.
This is a flow trail that can be enjoyed by newbies and experts alike. Connected to ORC you can do lap after lap with little climbing. Great rollers and berms.
