Mountain Biking Glorieta Enduro Trails

*****   Add a review
#65 of 283 mountain bike trails in New Mexico
#4,823 in the world

Trails are free but access is at the pleasure of the Glorieta Conference Center. They generally allow access during off peak times. Inquire ahead to avoid making a trip for nothing. There are two enduro trails (Jagged Axe and Chili Dog), both used for a Big Mountain Enduro Series stop. Each is accessed via a slog up a fire road, but then delivers a serious enduro experience on the way back down.

Getting there
From I-25 east of Santa Fe, take the Glorieta exit. Get on the frontage road on the North side of the interstate and follow it back west. It will run into the gate to the Glorieta Conference Center. If the gate shack is manned, inquire about access. If open, the shack attendant will give instructions where to go to sign a waiver and get a map.

This off the radar trail system is brilliant! Seems like it's built by locals, but with the quality of of pro built trails! Beautiful area, techy trails with consequences- this is boardering on Stupid Fun. Great job to whoever built this area up.
