Mountain Biking Governor Dodge State Park
#134 of 388 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
Fast doubletrack with lots of hills. Mostly grassy mowed trail, some roots, rocks gravel and sand. A large loop and a small loop that form a figure 8. My wife loves this trail because it offers a good aerobic workout without being too technically challenging. Good for novices, but they may end up walking up some of the hills.
WI State Park pass required. WI State Trail pass required.

3.2 miles north of Dodgeville, WI on highway 23 on the east side of the road.
Grassy multi-purpose hiking, horseback riding, and MTB trails. Smooth with some very long stretched out climbs with equally long stretched out fast downhills. The sandy spots are difficult to ride through. Watch out for the horse apples!
