Maude Cobb Convention Center, Longview, TX
Trail from Convention Center needs marked better, but once you get to the actual trail, it's good.
Thank |Rained last night, so lot of water on the trail. Did not venture too far, but would come back when drier.
Plenty of parking, easy access.
This trail has a lot for beginners but it gets extremely difficult when you get to C. If you are looking for a narrow trail with some risky things that is the place to be but if you are new to riding there's a lot to offer for you to.
Thank |Nice trail for a quick ride after work, some new sections are being added for better ups and downs.
Thank |I drove over from Shreveport to try out Hamby but apparently you can't ride it without being a member of the local club. So I tried out this trail. Basic trail made of 3 loops: A, B, and C. It's what I consider a "fast as you want to make it trail." It's very flat with lots of twisting and turning among tree groves. I liked A best but mainly because it was easiest to follow. Had some trouble following the trail on C. Most of it is a bit overgrown. Decent trail to try out. Also has an extensive dirt jump area near trailhead.
Thank |Nice shady ride for a hot day in town. Pretty basic. It's a Lolly Pop for a 3 mile out and back. the Stem has a few little thrills and a quick side loop that's nice. The pop part is almost flat and winds among young-ish pines tree rows. Go ahead and bring little kids if you got em.
