This is a paved multi-use trail for bikes, walking and skating. Not a single track but somewhere you can bike anytime and not worry about vehicle traffic except at road crossings. The connector to Blake C Snyder Park gives a nice hill workout. Total length of trail is about 8 miles 10 if you do the Blake C. Snyder loop also.

There was not much in the description of this trail but the "tread" section says it all . . . Greenway. This is an asphalt surface trail that extends 8 miles from Orlando's parking lot on Hoffmeister in South County to I-44 in Kirkwood. I took this trail as a part of the route from my mom's house to the Amtrak station in Kirkwood. It is a fantastic trail to get from one place to another with access to many interesting and historic places along the way. It is not, however, the singletrack mountain bike experience most people are searching for on this site. There is a BMX park near the southern terminus that looked like it had promise but I didn't have the time to check it out. Next time you are in St. Louis and want to visit Grant's Farm, Whitecliff Park, the Sappington House, Dickson Cemetary, or Clydesdale Park consider using this trail to get there and enjoy a nice ride, too.
