Mountain Biking Greely Woods
#32 of 121 mountain bike trails in Maine
Trail has a bit of everything.. starts on a rocky wide climb to a fun single track.. a number of log crossings (most are ridable), up to a radar tower, the trail continues to the left side of the fence surounding the radar tower.. the downhill from the radar tower is a washed out technical downhill.. It isn't all that steep, but there are tons of things to get your wheel caught in... then more fun single track to a long, long climb (starts off with some pitch and then is more consistant and gradual... but long).. finishes with more single track and then a fun short downhill down the rock face you started on. Very fun... will actually get a bit better with more use. There is a trail off to the Right on the way up the climb which I am told is a good warm up trail.

Take Route 9 to the Center of Cumberland. You will pass Greely High School on your right. Approx 1 mile past the school on your left is Greely Road. Follow Greely Road to the end. Straight ahead at the end is the entrence the trail (up a rock washout)...trail loops off the left at the top of the washout)
